The Fellowship Committee is looking to add several new “co-op” members to assist the committee in creating, organizing, and presenting Fellowship events for Parkview and our Community. You will meet as a committee before Session meetings and assist the committee when possible. Please see Bill Edwards or Bill Hughes if you are interested.
Advent…the season to prepare. The season to make ready. The Lord is coming. The four weeks preceding Christmas are the season of Advent. In order to better prepare ourselves, we come to the Lord’s table. We need to be equipped for the journey, bread and wine. Then there are the candles. The Advent wreath is hung in its traditional place in the sanctuary. We tell the old stories. We learn some new songs. We get ready so that when Jesus is born on Christmas day, we will be prepared.
Important dates in Advent:

More info, and sign up sheets, later. Contact Bill Edwards for details or to volunteer.
Parkview Scrappers will meet Friday, October 17 for their monthly crop. Please join us if you are a scrapbooker, cardmaker or stamper to work on projects and fellowship from 5 pm to 12 am. Bring your supplies and a friend.
